Sunday 19 June 2011: Lavallyroe 2011
Each year around this time Mary's brother Seamus and his wife Annette welcome all the extended family to her former family home in Lavallyroe, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo. First there is Mass in the local Church in Cloonfad (where we were married) and then another of Annette's amazing meals. (she did mention that Seamus mashed some potato, this year).
The photo shows their grandchildren, from left Liam and Shauna, (skip one to) Amy belong to PJ and Sheena. The remaining two, are twins, Megan and Conor, whose parents are Joelyn and Dermot, and whose youngest sister, Lucy , missed out on the pic this year.
This crew in the pic are the loveliest kids you could meet.
Slightly wrong here: Shauna is a young Lady, now, and sang beautifully in the choir this morning, and didn't really want to be photographed. You will agree that she looks stunning, as do they all.
