Thursday 27 March 2008: A splash of colour
The fields around here are becoming almost invariably brown as they are ploughed for spring planting.
There are just a few fields that were planted with winter wheat/barley back in the autumn - they have looked straggly for months, but are now coming on strong and intense green.
And this field of rape, which is just starting to get under way.
