A Pelican Plucking

Short on ideas I popped into the zoo this evening and got a sneak preview of the new enclosure that opens in two days time. One of the new additions is three pelicans. I wasn't going to do another bird shot for a while but I liked the light and it is one funny looking bird. I will no doubt be blipping the other new inhabitants soon.
