Departure

Today was the day that my son said farewell to the Flatlands as we went back to the flat to move out the few remaining items of furniture/clothing etc. We had to abort our attempt yesterday due to the rather excessive amount of heavy precipitation in the Edinburgh locale.

In retrospect I think Flatlands is a misnomer....he has developed a habit of living in student flats on the top floor of buildings....great views but not exactly conducive to moving out....far too many steps for my liking. Looking forward to ground floor accomodation next year (if he finds any!).

PS - I just noticed the number of yesterdays blip...666...definitely missed a Blip theme opportunity there!
