Look at it carefully.
Observe the hoop.
Consider how best you can approach the hoop and get through it.

It may look like it is staying still.
But when you least expect it, the hoop can immediately transform itself into something else.
Usually when you least expect it.
More often than not, it will change AND MOVE, just when you managed to sneak through onto the other side.
The hoops move and change because of Unseen Forces.
The Unseen Forces do not see the impact of the hoops, or of moving the hoops.
The Unseen Forces do not understand the disappointment of seeing the reward of metaphor fishy treats through the hoop and finding that they are not reachable if the hoop moves.
Unseen Forces obey only the laws of Chaos and Disappointment.
The Unseen Forces thrive on fear, on frustration and worry.

Understand then, Metaphor Cats, that the hoop will never be what you want it to be. the hoop will never, ever, change into a giant bowl of scrumptious food or a nice friendly metaphor human who will perhaps praise you for jumping through the hoop.

Metaphor cats, you are indeed doomed to spend a lifetime of walking through the hoop and then finding that it moved, it changed into a smaller hoop and the hoop has spikey nasty bits sticking out of it, with burning fire around it, because the Unseen Forces conspire to keep you from your just rewards.

It has been a long day and a 12 page document, from an external source, that perhaps should have provided some clarity has left me with more questions unanswered and a lot of incredulity, eyebrow raising and deep, long heavy sighs of frustration and disbelief!
