Tuesday 14 June 2011: Pea Vines
This is my first time growing peas and was my first time building a trellis. I came home very pleased to see that the first flower is on this plant. It is climbing like crazy and I am amazed at how the little tendrils grab onto the twine so vigorously. It's a fascinating little plant! Only 2 shoots out of 6 grew so I don't expect much in the way of a harvest but we'll see.
