Oh really? Did it rain today?
Just a little...............or a lot!
But these worries are nothing compared to the ongoing plight of Christchurch residents. Today the governement announced its help package - in stage 1 5000 homes will be bought by the governement. A good step on the surface of it, but the purchase prices - based on 2007 valuations - are unlikely to be enough for many residents to be able to afford to buy similar properties. Families are then faced not only with having to move out of homes and neighbourhoods that are their lives, but possibly out of the city they love and call home. It's a mess - no-one's fault but a mess nevertheless.
And still there are 10000 homes who still don't know what their fate will be.
So a little rain today - or a lot - really isn't that big a deal I guess.
