Tuesday 21 June 2011: The longest day
Today has been a day that should be scrubbed, a do-over if you will.
In my efforts to be fit and healthy, I appear to have gained a blister the size of Lichtenstein. Well, ok, so it's not actually that big (surprise surprise), but it is right on the ball of my foot so it's a right pain the arse.
And I got soaked three times, three times.
This shot is of a cascade of water hitting some steps in Rutland Sq. Think I stepped on sovereign Norwegian territory to take it, but I made it back ok. Notice, closely, the splashes etc, it was chucking it down (had to try hard to find a polite adjective there).
Actually, sack that first statement - I've just nailed this honeymoon thing. One last piece of the puzzle to sort, but it's looking pretty good to me.
