What's In A Name

I've always thought soapwort has an unattractive name considering the very pretty flowers it is. It's just started blooming and I snapped this photo quickly this morning. Really didn't think I'd use it, but here it is :)

I've never used soapwort in any of the ways you can use it.. (medicinal or soap) This is a favorite of mine and have always thought it had one of the nicest flower scents around... just heavenly..


Here's the runner up today... I did debate which one to use.
