Monday 31 March 2008: Spring
Spring was definitely in the air this morning. Warm enough to walk in just my T-shirt, daffoldils blooming and wildlife everywhere.
I was a bit too far away to get a good shot of these deer as they crossed the track (this is tightly cropped from the original) and the red squirrels were too quick for me.
Unfortunately Nevis does not have a strong sense of nature conservation, so was happily chasing the squirrels. Fortunately they are just as quick as their American grey cousins, so he has no chance of catching them.
