Sunday 26 June 2011: THE BIG TOP
Apparently, the American circus is coming to our locality but, although there are numerous posters festooned around the village, it is still unclear just where they are pitching their big top.
It has been a glorious day here today with the heat cracking the flags. I went for a walk and was astounded at the rapidity with which some of the wild flowers have advanced - either that or the year has gone faster than I have thought.
The guinea pigs went home today. In truth I was sad to see them go.
