Contented Mum

Through the window, this morning, I caught this tender moment between Felix and all three of her babies. I've never seen a cat nursing while sitting up. Her mother, Christmas Kitty, would lie on the deck feeding her kittens in exactly the same spot. On the right, the unnamed kitten is twice the size of tiny Milo. You can barely see Milo's little tail sticking out on the left. The circle of dark above the kitten on the right is the outline of Boston Blackie's back. Felix's expression was so full of contentment here. Just attending to the business at hand.
