Saturday 25 June 2011: California quail

This quail was pretty bold in wandering around our campsite at Pt. Reyes. Usually these quail are very shy and run from photographers, but this one thinks we're in his campsite.

This is from a weekend camping trip to Coast Camp at Pt. Reyes.
