Monday 27 June 2011: Too much(o) scorchio....
......Ok George, I give up. I'm uniquely well adapted to a dreich environment....I'm only really happy when there's rain or mizzle to moan about; so this 32c in London is not on. Looking forward to getting home to the 15c and light rain in Edinburgh....that's more like it.
Good meeting this afternoon with an ex-Edinburgher, now resident in London. He misses the pace of life in Edinburgh but likes the hustle and bustle of London too. I'll need to keep reminding myself that life north of Hadrian's Wall is slow paced......
