Friday 24 June 2011: Another birthday
Every year for the last several I spend my birthday at my hubby's annual family reunion.
I decided to start the day by getting up for the sunrise. It was at 5:10 am, very early. Hubby and I awoke and walked to capture this scene. I decided to try and get a better eastern view, so we walked a little further. It was too late to get a good shot of the great colors from the location we were at. Sometimes it's hard to get the best shot when you are unfamiliar with the area.
After returning to camp, we went back to bed for a couple of hours.
My step-daughter and her hubby arrived later and brought me a gluten free chocolate cake! It was very good.
