View from the top of New Street

I regularly walk down Canongate trying to find an interesting shot that says 'Edinburgh' - at least to those who know the odd bit of the city - without resorting to cliche.

Now I'm not adverse to a good cliche but I've been liking what Instography has been doing with less conventional views of landmarks and this is a less worthy contribution to that ouevre.
