Tuesday 28 June 2011: Buzzed
The thing with narrow boats is that wildlife pretty much ignores you, today was great for views of lots of warblers on the banks of the Union Canal, as well as plenty of finches (bull, green, chaff, gold) and also swift, house martin and swallow (all three species of which flew inches from us as we cruised.
This buzzard was especially accommodating, affording excellent photo opportunities.
