Community Wind Turbine

I was privileged this evening to be part of a site visit to the recently-constructed Udny Community Wind Turbine, developed and owned 100% by the local community with the support and collaboration of Community Energy Scotland, SmartestEnergy and Green Cat Renewables

Tribute must be paid to the skills, the vision, the tireless energy and the determination of the 5 local residents who together invested so much of their own time and expertise to make this dream a reality, for the benefit of the entire local community.
