Thursday 30 June 2011: Waiting
My early morning roaming around yielded this dahlia. I'm anxious to know what color it is. My plant marking system needs huge improvement: magic marker fades, stuff from the label maker fades too. Pencil lasts a little longer, but then the plastic tag itself wears out in the sun and crumbles. A friend gave me a couple new colors this year and her ID system wasn't so hot either, so I just have to wait a couple more days and see what unfurls.
