Sunday 3 July 2011: Bishop's Palace
Lots of totting around Aberdeenshire this morning, exorcising last night's excesses before an uneventful drive back down the road.
It's a part of rural Scotland I've never spent a great deal of time exploring. Were it not for the plethora of Scottish country castles tucked away behind every row of trees, it could easily be mistaken for a leafy corner of southern England.
Like so much else in life, we must go back and spend more time sometime.
