April Karen's Journal

Sandia Mountain

This was taken from the Santa Ana Pueblo. I wanted to try to take a photo of the fire, but the wind has been blowing and so the plume of smoke is more like haze. I took a lot of photos while making adjustments to the camera. Some photos turned out white, over exposed, perhaps? This photo was the nicest looking photo taken with adjustments. The shutter was set at 1/1000, the F-stop was set at f/5.6, and the ISO was set at 100. I like that when I was taking these photos, I was able to recall our class discussion of what normal light is...sunlight and skylight. Both of these are active in the photo.
