Mother Goose?

Yesterday was figurative sacred ground. Today, the real thing. Linda and I walked all over historic downtown Boston today. And I do mean all over in 92°F heat (not humid, though) - following the Freedom Trail which is, quite literally, a red line of brick embedded in the sidewalk that you follow. Sometimes it's red pain but mostly inlaid brick. The dogs are definitely barking tonight (feet are very sore and tired, that is). I did this solo last year but thought Linda would enjoy the sights. This grave in the Granary Burying Ground downtown is believed to be that of Mother Goose or the inspiration for the Mother Goose stories. I thought it interesting to post and different from the usual historic stuff. The stone is typical for the time - many have winged skulls, Death's heads, or skull and crossbones.
