A hint of colour in the dank evening

Heavy showers, dark skies, shafts of sunlight and then deluges featured strongly today.

After cooking and eating this evening, the rain lifted and the skies darkened in the distance. I looked out and saw a faint rainbow forming, as a result of the setting sun's rays from the west, meeting the raindrops.
