Scary Bug

While sitting with Poppy in a shady spot in the park, I saw this dried out husk (or perhaps it's a shed exo-skeleton) of some nasty looking insect. It truly looks like some sci-fi movie monster about to attack the wee inhabitants of some tiny village in the grass. Moments after I took this picture, Poppy got up and plopped down right on top of it and had a good roll, completely destroying this little dried up alien.
