It's all about ......

the light....isn't it!

It's been a good day here....had a good and productive time in the studio, loaded the kiln with an ease i love....no hurried schedule...just enough glazed work to warrant another kiln....and a couple of customers...yeah for the sign at the bottom of the road, it's working!!!

Feeling the need for a moment or two with my current book.....i ended up on the sofa for about an hour, and finished it....oh my word...what a great book! Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, i would say one of the best books i've read in a long time! Set in Ethiopia, and mostly concerning the lives of identical twins - a subject dear to my hear because i am the mother of identical twins! Very few books bring me to tears...this one had me stirred to the heart.....i would highly recomend it. so well written, tight and with a length that allows for many hours of being enthralled by the familiar characters. Now what am i to do this evening.....i need a new book!!!

then a lovely walk with my man.....quietly taking in the light as it dips down and creates shadows and light - that magical time at the end of the day! i love it!

Now i need to go peel the spuds and chop the carrots!
