Homeward bound

A three-hour train journey from Stuttgart to get a cheap flight from Cologne seemed like a good idea when arranging this weekend's trip to Germany. However with two days of German beer inside me I wish I'd stumped up the cash for the more expensive Stuttgart flight and got home to my bed quicker. To make matters worse, the supposedly super-efficient German trains were delayed, making me miss my connection at Frankfurt and turning it into a four-hour trip, and then my EasyJet flight from Cologne was delayed.

Still, finally back in Edinburgh now and looking forward to seeing my girls again.
