Freaking INSANE driving!
On vacation with no wi-fi so I'm back-blipping this Sunday night. This photo was actually taken by Linda. I was busy driving through this wretched torrent of aquatic mayhem. We left Boston by 8am and it was raining, but heading south through the Plymouth area there was much flooding: 6 inches, 8 inches, 12 inches, possibly 18 inches. It was a struggle in some spots but we got through. This photo shows streets with water at sidewalk height. Sewer grates were FOUNTAINS! It was madness but we had to keep advancing toward Cape Cod. A bit late, but otherwise fine. The day mostly sucked weather-wise, but we made the best of it despite the weather and my unpopular driving commentary.
