Monday 11 July 2011: Life and Death
"No; this is only counsel:
My life and death I have put equally
Into thy hand: let not rewards, nor hopes,
Be cast into the scale to turn thy faith.
Be honest but for virtue's sake, that's all;
He, that has such a treasure, cannot fall."
Rather more in the quote than the picture, I fear. I've blipped a couple of thistles before: first a dead one, then a newly grown one beside the dead jobby, then the new one flowering. This is the new one, with a new bright purple flower right next to dying/wilting older flowers. It caught my eyes I went in to work today. I'm not really happy with the result (lighting? not very sharp ... kind of meh overall) but got nothing else today.
