Tuesday 12 July 2011: Black Butterfly
I have seen these a few times but never been close (or swift enough) to get a picture. Today, I was standing outside the school and this one flew past. It was really windy and it sheltered next to a wall.. I was back inside to get my camera as quick as a flash and got a few pics before it got blown away. This may not have been the best one, but the other choices were when it was in a corner with trash all around it.
Anyone know what it is?
EDIT: Thanks to debphoto arcticory. After finding it was a swallowtail (which I should have known), I did a little searching and it seems it's a Chinese Peacock. How cool is this place?
