From a natural wonder to one formed by humans

We ticked a box today by taking the Keoldale ferry and the minibus to Cape Wrath. The Stevenson lighthouse was as impressive as one would have expected, but I was even more impressed by the fact that there is a cafe there - Cafe Ozone. Its proprietors live out there 365...

After getting back from 'capeside' as the minibus driver called it, we went to Balnakeil craft village, which we previously visited in 2005. We were sore disappointed. There seemed to be fewer shops and less quirkiness and the whole thing is dominated by the hugely successful and highly professional Cocoa Mountain.

Now blipping on 3g overlooking the magnificent Durness beach.
