Calling it a night

Had a good day until it became time to make dinner. Turns out I was missing half of the ingredients I thought I had, I screwed up the timing so one dish was cold by the time the other was done, I burned my hand, broke a wine glass, and then set beans to soak overnight that the recipe calls to be cooked from dry. I was a bit of a disaster.

So I crawl into bed with my ipod, listen to five minutes of some boring history podcast (which I have specifically to put me to sleep), and hope for a better day tomorrow.
