Cocoa Mountain

I kept my promise not to blip another gloriously sunny beach shot today. Largely because I obviously jinxed the weather with yesterdays post. It wasn't bad today, it was warm enough, it was just a bit overcast. It's probably just as well given the number of red bits on display.

Oh well, the remedy for less than fantastic weather in this part of the world is a trip to Cocoa Mountain. We first stumbled across it about a month or so after they opened in 2006. We've made several visits since then and it's one of the many highlights of a trip to Northwest Sutherland. If you're not lucky enough to make it up here, or to their new place at Auchterader, I'd highly recommend placing an internet order as their truffles are amazing, especially the strawberry and black pepper, the whisky caramel cappuccino and especially the chili and lemongrass truffles.
