I feel the need...

...the need for speed.

Well, speed is one thing you will not get at the Falkirk Wheel. But what you do get according to the blurb is a unique to the world bit of engineering that moves canal boats leisurely up and down between the Union and Forth & Clyde canals all for the same amount of power it takes to boil a couple of kettles. I think the boiling of the kettles is also quicker.

Just after this I had to speed home along the canal on my bike through a thunderstorm wondering things like, how much protection does a bike helmet give you from a lightning strike and would the rubber tyres insulate me from the ground.

Anyway this could possibly be my WBC entry this week for the SPEED theme.
