This morning we went for a tour around the Lotus Renault GP factory, courtesy of James who works there. It was really interesting to see, with lots of carbon fibre and handmade parts. Very different to Jaguar-Land Rover.

Today we found out that we WON the cost presentation for class 2, and came 6th overall. This is a brilliant result - it's the first time the university has ever had a Formula Student team and we've come home with a prize. We can only hope to repeat the performance in class 1 next year! Force Edinburgh are going places!

A wet day, then a windy day, then a sunny day at Silverstone! The morning was the acceleration tests, which were interesting in the standing water! This is Brunel's car, taken from the starting lights above the start line. Such a cool place to watch from! We went home to get dry, and then came back to watch the sprint from the grandstands. 6pm was a whole competition photo (we were at the front), followed by some presentations and the awards ceremony - where we got our prize!
