Saturday 16 July 2011: The caraPace of Life.....
......up early (10am) to meet up with the Family Holmes on their last day. The now familiar daily format was followed; relaxing, drinking fruit juice, sleeping in the sun and generally doing nothing. We were offered a free breakfast by the charming owner of their hotel, so we dined well on a brunch type affair.
Later, after wishing the Holmes bon voyage, we ventured down to the beach for snorkelling and observed a thriving community of hermit crabs, and fish which look bigger and scarier than they really are through the refraction of the goggle glass. I didn't blub once, honest.
On the way home, we bumped into this local who is surprisingly quick off the mark. An evening trip to Zadar was canned as we were all too tired.
