Sunday 17 July 2011: BECKY AGAIN
SUNDAY
Checked out of my hotel and took my suitcase to Becky and Mikes as my flight wasn't until the evening.
Then we all went on the bus to a cafe in Isleworth ( a favourite of Becky and Mike ) where we were going to have breakfast. However when we got there it was closed and there was Police tape all around it saying " Police Line Do Not Cross". So we were at a bit of a loss as to where to go. Got the bus back to where we had come from and spotted a newly opened cafe so we went there for breakfast. Then we went to Syon House Garden Centre. Had to stick to the indoors bit though as it was raining again. Then a quick look round Pets at Home and afterwards to a pub for Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger beer.
Back to Becky and Mikes to chill for a while before getting the tube to Heathrow. Flight was due to leave at 6.15pm but was delayed by 30 mins. Got the Metro from Newcastle Airport into town and then the bus home.
So back to normal now after a lovely weekend away.
Well not quite back to normal as tomorrow is my son Neil's Graduation Ceremony at Northumbria University. Really hope it keeps dry for that.
