Tuesday 19 July 2011: Rest and Recuperation
As documented in a previous Blip our succes rate with Bonsai isn't very good. So it was a pleasent surprise to find that our two most recent Bonsai purchases had really benefited from a bit of rest and recuperation whilst we were away on holiday. After shedding their leaves due to overwatering I left them out in the back garden whilst we were away and they have thrived on two weeks of neglect. They have put on lots of new leaves and now look almost as good as the day we bought them.
