Lollo Rosso

Today is my mum's b-day, but I can't be there. I have already delivered her card and gift tho, so I'm not a total loss! It's also our friend Simon's b-day and I was going to blip him, but that didn't get off the ground either ..

So, looking around for a bit of an emergency blip, I chose this baby lettuce leaf. It's one of a mix growing on the window sill, til I can free up a bigger bit of space for them. It's also about the only one I can identify.

The aphids don't seem to care a hoot about which leaf is which type of lettuce, they're having the time of their lives on the whole box of them and I'm getting rather obsessive about squishing them!
