Tuesday 19 July 2011: Coins for CANSA
Today is the 2nd day of our community service week. The IGCSE I group went to visit the residents of local old age home. They were able to sing to them and just brighten their day a little. Its so important for young people to value our senior citizens.
The Cansa association made a visit to the school with Tjok Tjokkie. We collected coins to donate to them. Heart warming to see the children arriving with piggybanks and their own collections of coins.
About the Blip: couldn't take a shot of the real coin collection as it was too big and the colour faded into the background. Made a plan and created a mini collection.
