Saturday 23 July 2011: The Smithy.
Early start this morning, got up at 4.45, to leave the house at 5.30. We arrived at Larne harbour around 6.30, for the 7.30 boat. The sailing was east enough, and we arrived in Cairnryan around 9.30. Once we arrived in Scotland, we drove south, and stopped off in Gretna Green, where we visited The Smithy, we didn't get to go in though, as there was a wedding going on. We did however, have a nosey around the shops, it's a beautiful little town. :) When we'd finished in Gretna, we headed south again, stopping off at a service station for lunch. We went and got some supplies, then found the house, and got settled around 5.30. My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin are staying in the caravan site beside our cottage, and came over for a visit. They've just gone, and we're heading out for dinner, after which we're going to Willie and Lorraine's for dessert. It's been a lovely start to our holiday. :) Not to mention the weather is great!
