A Collector of Oddities

This is one of the very few plants I have in the garden that is not a herb, fruit, veg or wildflower. You can't argue with that colour though which is fabulous and rather similar to its wild relative, the Meadow Cranesbill. The Cranesbill name comes from the long pointy seed case which you can see under the main flower here. I think this one looks a bit like a snake with its tongue sticking out.
