One bee a buzzing

We're in shock - the sun is shining, it's actually hot, the shorts are on, the garden is a burst of colour and the bees are buzzing. Just outside the front door these yellow flowers make a fantastic colourful sight - this fat little bee was impressed too.

Most of the day spent in the garden, alternately moving, reading, sunbathing, mowing, reading, eating ice cream, sunbathing, mowing...

Off to see The Guard shortly - a subversive Irish film said to be hilarious. We are not very good at hilarious but I do like Brendan Gleeson. And there's the prospect of more ice cream :)
