Tuesday 26 July 2011: Abbot at Dundrennan Abbey
I had an away day visiting Kirkcudbright and Dundrennan Abbey where I came upon the statue of this unknown abbot. According to the guidebook he was a victim of a murder and he has a dagger plunged into his heart (knife crime in Scotland is apparently nothing new!). His murderer also came to a sticky end apparently. He is my entry for this week's theme Time.
