Tuesday 26 July 2011: Mum and Dad's bed

Orla's bedroom is south facing, and despite keeping her blind shut her room has been really warm these past few days. So she has been going to sleep in our bed - our room is on the north-facing side of the house, so it's much cooler. We put her back in her own room when we go to bed, but at some point last night she came back through. It would appear she can get into our bed by herself now, as neither of us has any recollection. This is her this morning colonising the bed after we'd got up. When we're putting her to bed she asks expectantly, "mum and Dad's bed?" and can't suppress her triumphant smile when we say okay. When we put her in bed she says, "Mummy and Daddy join me, after your lunch?"

Edit: Just noticed her one year ago blip was exactly the same subject. Funny how often that happens!
