Gatekeeper

This butterfly is one I've not one seen before. It's a Gatekeeper, Pyronia tithonus. I spotted two of them flitting around the gorse bushes which grow, appropriately enough, beside a gate on the South Hams cliff path. The gate separates cattle and sheep, but I never knew it had winged keepers before today.
