Monday 25 July 2011: Hastings Pier
We did quite a lot today; went to Bodiam Castle in the morning after a nice big cooked breakfast. It's a ruined castle in the middle of the countryside, with absolutely huge and rather terrifying fish in the moat. In the afternoon we went to the Hastings aquarium. I love aquariums! I took a lot of photos there, but none of them were very good. The fish move far too quickly!
In the evening we walked along the beach front to look at the pier, which burned down last October. Even th0ugh it's just a skeleton of a building, I still think it looks eerily beautiful.
