Wednesday 27 July 2011: Dinner Plate Dahlia
Yesterday I didn't risk writing anything because I was so down on myself after the photo workshop--I spent a lot of time comparing myself unfavorably to others, particularly to K, who has had a cornucopia of exciting ideas and has been able to execute them all quite successfully in the time I have taken to work and rework one simple concept. In talking with K today, I found that she wishes she could be more like me: focused and full of attention to detail... Ho hum, another lesson learned. Again.
I remember that someone who saw this flower in bud form was hoping to see it in full bloom.
