A curiosity

When I started working on the former Yugoslavia, my colleagues found this little gem for me in a second hand shop.

Of course, there never was a language called 'Yugoslav' for the tourists who so appreciated the Dalmatian coast from the 1960s onwards to learn, and there isn't even a country of that name any more. The last vestiges disappeared in 2002 when the (rump) Federal Republic of Yugoslavia transmuted into the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro (prior to Montenegro's independence in 2006). Today, I have been making slow progress on Balkan projects whilst working from home, and hoping the weather might clear.

Today's news has been dominated by tomorrow's reopening of the Royal Museum. I'm glad I blipped it before.
