Heating element
This is the heating element which helps to maintain the correct temperature of the shaftseal system of the steamturbine at standstill of the unit.
A few days ago the vessel of the heater at EC 7 burst open because of overheating; the electrical heater kept on heating because the relays did not switch off (sticky). There was no steamflow present at the time and the material came at it's upper yield point...
