Friday 29 July 2011: Sooking the Hairy Leaf...
No, it's not a euphemism, it's actually an accurate description. This little, well actually not that little, fly, blue bottle or what ever it was was found hanging out in the glasshouse entrance at the Botanics, not the actual glasshouse as I wasn't paying to get in! I am Scottish after all... He sat for ages with me going at him from all angles with macro and ring flash. He even let me nudge him into a better position. Most obliging.
Had 19 shots to choose from tonight for blip. 18 from the botanics with the macro, 50mm, holga and lensbaby and one long exposure from Newhaven with a cracker of a reflection but this one was too good to pass up. View it LARGE!
